Soeur Miller week 17 (5-5-26)

The Quad

Bonjour!

We had transfer news this week! I'm leaving my first area and going to Hochelaga, Montréal! It's an all French area and I've been there once before last transfer for mission tour. We were housed at the apartment I'll be living in! My new companion, Sœur Fitzner, is so cute and I got to meet her too!

I am heartbroken to leave Ottawa but I knew the change was coming. It was a sad week of goodbyes but I know I'm coming back because Riverside will forever hold a special place in my heart!!

This week we had our mission tour (conference) with Elder Stanfill and half of our mission! It was really fun to see some missionaries I haven't seen in a long time! The mission tour was so good and it was a neat opportunity to hear from our mission leaders and Elder Stanfill. The spirit was so strong! It was fun to drive down to Montréal too. The city was really cool and I didn't know if I'd actually ever be there again but now I'll be living there! It's a little miracle that I know exactly what I'm walking into this next transfer, minus the French immersion.

I'm terrified to speak French, leave Ottawa, and start new but as I was saying my prayers this week I asked for peace as transfer news came in. I still feel nervous and unsure but I have full confidence that Heavenly Father knows exactly where I am and where I need to be. I will just try and trust that everything will work out!

This week in my personal study I was in 3 Nephi and read one of my favorite scriptures! 3 Nephi 13:33

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

I know that when I have put Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ first in my life I have been blessed! When we look to Christ all our fears and doubts melt away! He is the source of all peace and I have never felt that more than on my mission! New things are happening and that's exciting and a chance for more growth! Love you all so much! Have an amazing week!
