Soeur Miller week 15 (4/20/26)

 Bonjour!!

It was a warm week! The sun was out and it got up to 70 degrees! It was awesome and Sister Curtis and I spent some quality time outside studying and getting a little sunburnt!

We met lots of new friends this week and four of them came to church! It was a miracle to see all of them walk in and it's so cool to see their faith!

We met Fatih in person for the first time!! He is the sweetest person ever and so willing to make Jesus Christ the center of his life! He told us a couple weeks ago that he was up for a new job and he wouldn't have to work on Sundays if he got it. He was supposed to find out on the 27th, the day after his baptism, if he got the job but he found out early that he did!! We told him to expect miracles in his life for choosing to be baptized and after he told us about his new job he said that he knew this job was definitely one of them! He is so prepared! He came to a baptism of another ward with us so he could get a better idea of what to expect and it was so fun to see his excitement! His baptism is next week!! It's going to be so amazing and I cannot wait!

Every prayer everyday we ask Heavenly Father to help us find the people the people who are ready and willing to let Him prevail in their life. I know He led us to Fatih and I will be forever grateful!

This week I loved studying about looking to Jesus Christ for our relief because we promise so many of our friends that true relief, peace, and joy can be found nowhere else!

In the Book of Mormon in Mosiah 24:14 it says, "And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions."

I know Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father are waiting for us to turn to their constantly outstretched arms! As soon as we look to Christ our burdens will be made light! They may not go away but we will not have to endure them alone! Look to Him because life is so much better when you do! Have a great week! Sœur Miller🤍
